GOAT MEAT RECIPES
Goat Stew
1-2 lbs Goatburger
1-2 carrots, chopped
1 large onion, chunked
1 stalk celery, chopped
5 large potatoes, chunked
1 can cream of Celery Soup (10 3/4 oz)
5 cups Goat Milk (more or less to liking, for thinner/thicker stew)
Brown Goatburger in skillet.
Add onions, carrots & celery. Cook alittle more.
Add potatoes, soup and goat milk.
Cook until potatoes are tender.
Salt & pepper to taste
[Optional- can add a few whole Peppercorns when cooking the meat].

1 red onion, chopped
1lb goatburger
1 (12oz) can tomato paste
1 Tbl garlic powder
3 tsp paprika
2 (16oz) cans diced tomatoes, with green Jalapeno chilies.
1 (8oz) can tomato soup
16oz elbow macaroni or rotini pasta
1 cup ketchup
Saute onions in oil until tender. Add goatburger, garlic and paprika.
Continue cooking until goatburger is browned.
Add undrained tomatoes and soup.
Add tomato paste (to taste).
Cook pasta, drain, add to mixture.
Add 1 cup ketchup (or to taste).
Cook on medium-high heat 8-10 minutes.
Serves 4-6
Thunder Bay Cheesburger Pie!
1 lb ground goat
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp oregano
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Mix all the above together.
Put in pie crust.
Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
*Top with shredded cheese and bake 5-10 more minutes.
Pie Crust:
1 cup flour
Goodly pinch of salt
A (full) 1/4 cup crisco shortening
1. Mix flour & salt.
2. Add shortening, mix with fingers (handle as little as possible).
3. Add alittle very cold water at a time stirring with a fork.
4. Keep adding small amounts of cold water until dough holds together.
Roll out dough, flute edges if preferred.

2 lbs goatburger
1 cup shredded potatoes
1 cup quick cooking oats
1 egg
1/3 cup ketchup
1 package (1.1oz) Beef onion soup mix
1/2 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine: potatoes, oats, egg, ketchup, soup mix and pepper.
Add goatburger, mix well.
Shape into loaf and place in lightly greased shallow baking pan.
Bake 50-60 minutes or until done. Let stand 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Makes approx. 10 servings.
